Camping at Squirrel Wood Squirrel Wood Scout Campsite has 20 individual camping pitches which are positioned to maximise privacy and practicality. Squirrel Wood can cater for up to 1500 people weather Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers, Guides or other Youth groups.

Camping

Pitches are allocated on arrival to ensure we can rest them and keep them to the superb standard our regular campers are used to.

Campfire Circle

The Squirrel Wood Campfire Circle is available for all site users to run a camp fire. It's located centrally to the site so that it is easily accessible from all campsites and the Squirrel Lodge.

Backwoods

The majority of pitches back onto the woods making wide games and backwoods camping easy.

Toilets

The toilet block is straight down the track making it easy for everyone to find. It has male, female and disabled facilities with hot and cold water.
